Barry Mayfield is a musician, photographer and darkroom enthusiast from Cork, Ireland. He shoots on traditional, toy, and pinhole cameras in both 35mm and medium formats.

His interest in photography started while working as a musician in the Canary Islands where he lived on and off for ten years.

His earliest photographic influences came in the form of album covers with both Simon Larbalestier's Pixies alum covers and Anton Corbijn's work standing out. Years later when Barry finally built is own darkroom he realized the  graphic style of the images came from lith printing. Although he uses a variety of traditional and alternative techniques in the darkroom this is how Barry primarily prints.

All of the images are scans of prints handmade in his darkroom.
